I would expand Solar Thermal to include direct air heating panels such as the popular soda can stack and a wide variety of passive solar (heat absorbing wall, etc.) technologies. Also direct heat for solar cooking and to drive absorption refrigeration systems.
And Solar Electric can be subdivided naturally into Solar PV (flat or concentrating) and using Solar Thermal to run a generator to produce electricity.
At this time producing electricity using the Peltier-Seebeck effect based on temperature differences is too inefficient to worry about.
