Solar or battery powered electrical outlets for the garden

It would likely be much less expensive to run power. To replace the same potential power your standard outlet can supply with solar is not feasible. You are talking the cost of a house covered in solar panels and filled up with batteries.

Now for a bug trap, I don't think they use much power and might be possible to do for say $1000 to $2000, but you can run a real circuit for that with standard power and used for other purposes.

The quick way is throw some 12-3 direct burial cable in a shallow trench, with conduit around it where it comes
up out of the ground for protection. Not much of a job for an electrician to connect the ends, with a GFI outlet.

I have a box charger that will save you a lot of money. You can charge it with solar or electric inside then take it back outside. You buy the solar charger separately, but so worth it. We use them for our chicken coop and they work great. I hope it will work for you as well.

I am not sure which product you are talking about. There are quite a few on the market.

IMO most are expensive (even the systems that you can build) and barely provide the kWh advertised. They will more than likely fail to work much sooner than advertised.

Here's an easy one for you that won't cost you a cent.
Move the trap close to an outlet it will still trap those pesky skeeters.
