Hello,
I am quite new to this forum, but I have been browsing and following different topics for quite some time. I have worked for a few different solar companies, specifically in proposal departments. One of the largest errors I have come to see when it comes to using these solar calculators is getting the roof angle incorrect. Our eyes can greatly mislead us, and to get the angles right for most, it takes quite a bit of practice.
I have designed a powerful little tool to help you get the angle right! All you do is take a picture of the roof or snag one from the internet and let the program do the rest.
*EDIT*
It is really only useful for those who only have access to images of the homes they are trying to get angles for to plug into solar calculators. (Such as solar proposal teams)
For those interested, here is a little video showing how it works:
It's nice to meet you all!
