Totally awesome, thanks for the link. This should be a "sticky".
This short article is also very useful about how panels degrade, these are factory panels,
I'd expect DIY to not be anywhere as good.

Free vacuum pumps
Refridgerator compressors make good vacuum pumps. Used one for years to "slurp" solder from printed circuit boards..Lots of fridges headed to the dump.
Some education required.Check the "net".
If more volume is needed maybe an AC compressor.Comment
