    Help working out if solar system is working normal ..

    Hi

    I purchased my rent a roof system on 29/08/18 and just want to know if anyone thinks its doing its job ok, i have a 1.88kw system, south facing on the East coast of the UK and a roof with med pitch with no shading trees etc.... The system is 8 years old and I've been told the inverter part only lasts 10 years does it just stop or does it only allow less power to transfer ?

    I have been taking readings when i think about it.. Could someone please look at the figures see if they look ok ?

      Wait until you have a sunny day near noon and check your output. It should be between 1.2 and 1.8kW.

      Typical failure is that it just stops. But they usually last far longer than 10 years.
