Hybrid inverter without feeding back to grid, possible ?

    Hybrid inverter without feeding back to grid, possible ?

    Hi,
    So i don't want to go thru the hassle and getting aprooved to feed back to the grid since the price is so low it's not worth it but i'd like to use the grid when there is no more solar and no more battery, is there an inverter who can do that ? I know inverters that can do this by taking from the grid and charging batteries, but i want power dirrectly from the grid otherwise the batteries will be worn out in the winter time were powere would mostly come from the grid. Ao in a way it has to do ATS but at the same time make sure the phases are in line. Is this possible ?

    I need if possible 3 phases, one or two MPPT, 5kw and support for Lead Acid Batteries in series e.g 48V.

      Many Hybrid inverters have a Zero Export function. Most Grid Tie inverters do not. Does that help, as a feature/function to look for ?

          I am familiar with Outback Radian and Skybox inverters, both of which have grid zero modes. I don't know if the Radian has a 3 phase model but at this time the Skybox does not.

              Actually MOST grid tie inverters DO have a grid zero capability. It requires a consumption meter and programming changes. SolarEdge, SMA, Enphase, Fronius, all have thus capability.

                  If you need it to be three phase then you will have to use the older inverters from OutBack (three of them) to feed each leg. The FXR series or the Flexpower three FXR (which has three FXRs)
                  You will still need a permit and then to configure the system to not feed into the grid with their grid zero settings.

                      you would use 3 FXR inverters (one per leg) for three phase
