So my off grid setup, which is basically for emergency use (or at least proving that it will work for emergency) has changed , and then changed again and again
I can see why now the importance of good quality battery's and condition is basically the most critical part of the operation
after several battery config changes, and many times adjusting it,I think i have how its going to work for me down pat
keep in mind all my battery are free... they are old battery's from work..
occasionally i get better quality ones, resonantly i got a bunch of brand news ones Now i see why i should could just go all in for new batterys
https://i.imgur.com/xjHTUysh.png This is how im setup.... which seems to give me the best results.....
I have one more pigtail open on the splitter up top.. which i plan on extending to the upper roof.... and adding more series parallel panels
but My next step is a better controller.. and i cant really go any further with my current controller.... BUt fear not.. cause what gets cycled out gets reused...
small inverter, which i dont use anymore.. and old battery's will go to the shed.. I plan on powering the CCTV cameras and POE switch out in the shed with solar soon (with the left overs)
Looking for some insite in to battery configuration
