Can Sunny Tripower be used with residential single phase?

I just purchased a storage unit at auction that had several Sunny Tripower STP 30000TL-US-10 grid tie inverters in it. I need a good inverter for the system I plan to install later this year. Just wondering if there is a way to use one of these 3-phase inverters with single phase residential? (eg. wiring it a certain way, adding some sort of converter, etc.)

Not easily its a 3 Phase 480V inverter. You would need a phase converter and step up transformer to have a chance of it working. Sell them and buy single phase iinverters

Agreed. It can be done but it will not be worth the cost/time/risk.

I had to submit the inverter spec sheet to my utility. Had to match the service they provide (single phase 240V) No Rube Goldberg contraptions to "make it work" allowed.
You should check with your provider.

On a second thought I'm pretty sure yo can't backfeed through a phase converter. If you sell it you will be able to buy multiple single phase inverters.
