I have a grid tied microfit system with two sunnyboy inverters (4000TL-US and 5000TL-US). Each inverter has a secure power supply(SPS) that is supposed to give up to 1500watts in the event of a grid down event. Recently had a power failure and I tried to get them to work but no luck. Does anyone have any experience with these? Manual says to "switch off the inverter miniature circuit breaker". There are no switches on the inverters to switch off. The original installer is no longer in business and SMA help line was not helpful.
