Is hooked to and MT-50?

In other words in what way are you interfacing the controller?

You can't. You need to access "user" settings which requires the MT50 or PC connection.

You can buy a USB to RS485 on Amazon for <£10. The PC software is free. It only needs done once.

Unless it is a lithium specific unit, it will not have "absorption". It will have lead acid "boost", "equalisation" and "float" thresholds, timings and "recon" settings though. If you have a lithium pack, there are ways to config it safely. Research required.
