Can SolarEdge battery owners now adjust their settings in the app??

Is that with a specific firmware release for the inverter, a particular app version (I have 2.11.7(2) of the app), or something that is available to everyone use via dashboard? I don;' see that on my phone or via web-site and I have some admin capabilities.

Those are some of my questions, too. Some of the folks who post here have full installer admin rights. I was hoping one of them could shed some insight.

More evidence! See the screenshot on this page, part way down. The app shows the profile settings.

I reckon it's time to bug my installer.

Unfortunately no. Under Admin, I only have Site Details, Site Access, and Revenue. Layout is horizontal an not vertical as well.

It's getting annoying how they don't explain compatibility. Is an older StorEdge inverter compatible with the new interface? How do I get the "Battery Mode" settings from here: https://www.solaredge.com/en/product...ls/mysolaredge

That is the installer's view. I asked my installer about this but he did not know anything. Maybe it hasn't fully rolled out yet? Or maybe he didn't really check? Not sure.

I have an installer account and it has looked like this for years. I'm hoping it just hasn't rolled out yet but why use it in manuals and marketing already?

What do you see when you click the Admin "gear" icon? Is there an Energy Manager menu item?

Thank you, Soby. Very helpful! I guess it isn't fully rolled out yet. Like you said, I can't believe the marketing and other documentation is telling us something different.

Quick follow up. I spent an hour on the phone with SolarEdge. I patiently walked the rep through his company's own documentation ("This is all new to me."). He checked and reported that it hasn't been rolled out yet (duh) and he couldn't give an ETA. He opened a ticket for me so I'll keep pestering them for an ETA.

However, I am not very confident that any of the settings will fix my battery issue.

Good luck with that... One thing I find extremely frustrating with SolarEdge, is that they will close tickets as resolved, even though they are not resolved.

I've been poking them for 1.5 years about their claim that the energy hubs and backup interface integrates with a generator to provide whole house backup. Their docs all say it is supported, but they have an asterisk saying "with required firmware upgrade", which still is not available. I open cases, they will say it's not supported and close, then, after repeated cases, will say they are testing and having bugs and it will be Q3 of the year. That rolls by and they say Q1 of next year, then Q4, etc... Each time, they don't leave the case open, so that I can track and ask for updates. Instead, they close the case, and I have to open a new one, referencing the old case.

Just don't hold your breath. Solar Edge support is the worst I've seen in ANY industry.
