Any battery monitor will work because the inverter does not care. It depends on what kind of battery. Lead Acid or Lithium chemistry? What are you using to charge the batteries? If from solar, some solar charge controllers provide data on voltage and current.

As I mentioned earlier, It depends on the battery chemistry and battery voltage. You also need to match solar output, by stringing the panels so that current does not exceed maximum of the charge controller and voltage is high enough to provide correct voltage to the batteries. There is no one size that fits all situations.
The best charge controller is the one that fits the parameters of your system. Do you already have the solar panels? If so what are their specs in terms of voltage and current?

A Victron SCC rated to 1.2 times the max amperage your panels are spec’d to. Answering the questions asked earlier will get you a better answer than I gave you.

Battery Monitors, cheap
AiLi battery monitor. Available on ALIbaba for $20 or Amazon fir $20.

4000 watt inverter on a 12 volt system
Please don’t use this. Get a smaller system.
