Also recently just came to NH, but they seem to be doing well. I've seen at least half a dozen installs in the last couple weeks. And that is just on the streets I drive in my area.

solar city is not worth the hype

The average solar sales rep in the country makes 72k and the average solar city rep makes 35k. Every system I have sold has been way less than solar city quoted. solar city pushes leases on people when a purchace and finance is a better option for them. Any comments anyone

        solar city stop the madness

I agree with everything said here. Solar city needs to start selling systems that benefit the consumer and not their own pockets.

          solar city

The people that go with solar city go with them because they dont know there are better companies out there. If you are interested at getting a solar system do not I repeat do not only get a quote through solar city.

I agree with both of these posts
Here in Maryland we can offer 12 months same as cash and 2.99% financing for 12 years and beat Solar City and Vivant on return on investment with a much better cash flow for the owner. Particularly after the loan is done. And a better negotiating position if one needs to sell their home beforehand

Exactly and not to mentioned it is much easier to sell your home when the system is financed as apposed to leased. We use mosaic that has a 12 year option at .249 financing. How is solar doing in Maryland I am originally from the east coast but now in Arizona where solar is booming.

If there is something posters to this forum agree on most or more than most, it may well be that SolarCity is one of the bottom feeders of the solar peddlers, and that without them and their near clone, Vivant, things would be a lot better. Trouble is, that nasty thing called advertising clouds reality. It's just business.
