Bought 5 of these form a set of 10 used as grid tie setup, I need to know the best way to use them for 12 or 48v off grid, not grid tie system. I know grid tie panels are 60 cell and usually off the grid 12,24 volt panels are 36 or 72 cell.

Doubt you can use all 5 without going to a VERY expensive MPPT controller. 4 would be easy, (2x2, or 4 series) if you can get one more, 6 would work too, (3x2)Powerfab top of pole PV mount (2) | Listeroid 6/1 w/st5 gen head | XW6048 inverter/chgr | Iota 48V/15A charger | Morningstar 60A MPPT | 48V, 800A NiFe Battery (in series)| 15, Evergreen 205w "12V" PV array on pole | Midnight ePanel | Grundfos 10 SO5-9 with 3 wire Franklin Electric motor (1/2hp 240V 1ph ) on a timer for 3 hr noontime run - Runs off PV ||
|| Midnight Classic 200 | 10, Evergreen 200w in a 160VOC array ||

Hi there, I have a YL230P-29B 230W
This was given to me by a friend and I'm looking for a Charge controller to use to charge golf cart batteries and / or my deep cycle marine batteries.
I'm planning to use the batteries to power LED lights in my back yard.
My questions is what Charge Controller would be sufficient enough for 1 panel.
TY in advance.Comment
