Hi all,
I have a question about calculating voltage drop.
The DC cable is 4 mm2 (copper)
The distance is 30 meters
I have two strings of each two solar panels with the following specs
Voc 49.8 V
Isc 13.99 A
The two strings are connected parallel into a combiner box. The distance from the panels to the combinerbox is 4 meters. The distance of the combiner box to the charge controller is 30 meters.
How much will the voltage drop be?
Vdc = 2 x L x R x I / 1000
Many thx
Regards Ben
