Looking for a very basic solar inverter that puts out 240 V split phase. I thought it would be easy to find, but it seems like everyone wants to add bells and whistles to their inverters that I do not need. I do not need a battery charger as the system is just going to be for power cost offset not back up power. I don't need a fancy app on my phone that tells me every minute how much the system is making. (actually I don't have a Wifi connection in the building I want to install it on, so extending the WiFi out to the building would just add cost.) For monitoring I need a display that lets me know how much is currently being made and some kind of running history that can tell me how much I make per month. Of course some simple LEDs that tell me if the system has a problem like a ground fault or internal error would be required as well. Not that any of these extras wouldn't be nice options for the future, but I don't want them to have to be up and running for the system to work.
My basic needs are:
Over 5000W PV input
240 VAC split phase output
Basic local status display
Connects directly to a breaker in my breaker box. (No ATS or special monitoring box required)
For PV voltage in put, my panels put out 45.7 VOC, but I can series them to get whatever voltage I need to get. (Risen 330 W panels)
I was looking at the Growatt MIN 6000TL-XH-US inverter, but in the users manual all the diagrams show an ATS being used. Not sure if the ATS is required for sync or only if batteries and back up generator are used and their tech support has yet to get back to me. Also it looks like it requires an internet connection which again will add cost and physical labor I am not ready to put into it yet.
Anyone know of a basic inverter that can meet my needs?
