Can SolarEdge battery owners now adjust their settings in the app??

Finally! Not perfect, but it is something! Seems to be only available on the iOS app, not the web interface. Wish there was a manual option like described in this document (not sure how that document relates to this app release).

Edit: After testing, this still won't work for me. I need the option to "minimize import" since I don't have an export meter

I need details. I just updated my iOS app I and see nothing resembling the screen you shared. I tried my homeowner account and my installer account and neither had that window as an option.

Never mind. I think I figured out the problem.

Requirements:

External import/export meter that is not supplied with the inverter
Single inverter sites (relevant for Time of Use and Manual Control mode only)
The home must not be registered under battery incentive programs with your local utility/retailer

That last one is probably my problem. I am registered for ConnectedSolutions in Massachusetts for summer and winter discharge events. I’m not a fan of this requirement. We should be able to change settings but have those settings get overwritten by the utility company for events. That’s essentially what happens now anyway.

I usually check battery settings after every SE iOS app update. I noticed the change today immediately after updating. The app version is 2.21 (8). I don't understand the first requirement, unless it means my utilities' smart meter.

Bummer that you get penalized for ConnectedSolutions (if that is the problem). At least you have installer level options.
